The events of the Galerie François Léage

Biennale des Antiquaires
The gallery has participated in the Biennale des Antiquaires at the Paris Grand Palais since 1978, where the quality and beauty of its booths with its spectacular wood paneling has been regularly acclaimed by visitors and the press.

Today, with its booths, the Gallery wishes to highlight the harmonious dialogue of top quality 18th century furniture and objets d'art sitting with contemporary pieces: some select modern and contemporary works of art are disposed amongst its Louis XIV, Louis XV et Louis XVI pieces – on a backdrop of 18th century wood panels integrating metal panels and silver or black-tinted floorboards.

Brafa Art Fair
For the first time in 2015, Galerie François Léage went abroad, to participate at BRAFA in Brussels, presenting its furniture and objets d'art in a restrained and contemporary mise-en-scène. The pared-down grey and black graphic setting created a strikingly contrasting backdrop for the balanced silhouettes and intricate details of the 18th century pieces, which were displayed on island podiums or on shelves, as works of art in their own right.

Nocturne Rive Droite
Galerie François Léage co-organises the annual Nocturne Rive Droite, federating galleries and antiques dealers in the area around Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and Avenue Matignon. An evening event presents special exhibitions and show openings to an enchanted public.

In June 2015, Franck Ferrand was invited for the signature of his « Dictionnaire Amoureux de Versailles ».

For the Nocturne in June 2014, Galerie François Léage, invited Jacques Garcia for the signature of his book « Vingt ans de passion, le château du Champ de Bataille », a fabulous country château dating back to the 17th century, which he lovingly restored and decorated.

In June 2013, Galerie François Léage had welcomed interior decorator Christophe Decarpentrie to curate the exhibition « Mobilier et Objets d'Art à travers les temp». Decarpentrie was accompanied by young contemporary artist, Andrey Zouari, who showed his latest oeuvres.
